By creating an account or using ProspectPing, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.
2. Description of Service
ProspectPing is a web application that sends push notifications related to professional baseball player activity. The service allows you to follow players across MLB, Triple-A, Double-A, High-A, and Single-A levels and receive real-time alerts when they are in the starting lineup, on deck, pitching, or when post-game stats are available.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide a valid email address to create an account. You agree not to share your account or allow others to access it.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service, including but not limited to: automated access or scraping, abuse of the notification system, attempting to interfere with the app's operation, or using the service for any unlawful purpose.
5. Push Notifications
By enabling push notifications, you consent to receiving alerts on your device. You can disable notifications at any time through the Settings page or your device settings. Notification delivery depends on third-party services and network conditions and is not guaranteed.
6. Third-Party Data
Player and game data is sourced from publicly available interfaces, including the MLB Stats API. ProspectPing is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Major League Baseball (MLB), Minor League Baseball (MiLB), or any of their teams or affiliates. All trademarks belong to their respective owners.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
ProspectPing is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of game data, player statuses, or notifications. The service may experience downtime or interruptions.
8. Limitation of Liability
ProspectPing and its creators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to decisions made based on information or notifications provided by the app.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Use from time to time. Continued use of ProspectPing after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
